South of Draper Section Project Notice
Canal Box Culvert Construction, 9/21/2026
The FrontRunner 2X project team will begin construction activities on a section of the canal east of Royal Coachman Drive in Bluffdale. Construction activities include:
- Security fence installation
- Tree removal
- Excavation
- Canal box culvert construction
Trees along the park strip on the neighborhood side of the fence will not be removed or impacted. Equipment will be staged within the canal right of way and will be kept off the main Royal Coachman Drive. Work will continue through spring 2027.
What to expect:
Residents can expect heavy equipment movements through the area, dust, noise and minor vibrations during work hours. Equipment will be staged within the canal right of way and kept off Royal Coachman Drive.
Schedule Information:
Start Date: As early as Monday, Sep. 21, 2026
Duration: Through spring 2027
Work Hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
