Closure of Pages Lane in Bountiful
FrontRunner 2X project crews will close Pages Lane in Bountiful between 475 West and 550 West from October 15, 2026, to January 25, 2027. The closure is needed so crews can relocate and reconstruct drainage facilities beneath Pages Lane to accommodate the new FrontRunner double track being built as part of the project.
Drivers and pedestrians will not be permitted through the construction area during this time. Motorists will need to take an alternate route. See the recommended detour map below.
What to Expect:
- Closure of Pages Lane
- Increased traffic on 400 North to cross I-15
- Some noise, dust, vibrations
- Work will primary take place during daytime hours
- No impacts to FrontRunner service
Plan Ahead:
Traffic will not be permitted through the work zone, so plan for the following:
- Allow for additional travel time
- Expect an increase in traffic along 400 North during peak travel hours due to detoured traffic
- Use caution near construction zones
- Watch for an increase in pedestrians on detour routes
Quiet Zone
The established train quiet zone will remain in effect during construction. For the safety of workers and crews, train horns may be sounded near work zones, as required by federal and local safety requirements, when workers or equipment are present and visible near the train tracks.
